ABOUT
THE INSTRUCTOR
A
student of yoga for 12 years and a certified yoga instructor,
Shelley Winton is also a registered nurse with a passion for exploring
the mind-body connection. Shelley's philosophy is to practice
yoga from the inside, out. Gentle movement focusing on the breath
encourages a deeper experience in the yoga pose. This is powerful
because it promotes mind-body integration and understanding of
the whole.
Class OVERVIEW
Classes
are suitable for students at any level of experience in yoga.
Please come wearing comfortable clothing that will allow free
movement; you may also wish to bring a blanket or towel. Mats

“I’ve
really enjoyed Shelley’s yoga classes—they’re
like a weekly visit to the spa. Each class is a gentle overall
workout that stretches muscles, improves flexibility and restores
the body’s equilibrium. The week’s stresses just
fade away. On top of all that, Shelley is a wonderful instructor.
She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the practice
of yoga. (And she can spot a knotted muscle a mile away.)
She’s a delight to work with.”
